- I saw that now we can use spotify connect, I can see my sonos system on spotify, but I can t play on it. The only solution I can see is to buy a Mac mini and plug it to the playbar to use spotify. Really I don t understand why sonos lock spotify connection. I can see that people have this trouble since 2015 and nothing happen.
Could you remove the spotify account from the Sonos application ( settings-my services), then power off the Play:5, reboot your Asus router, then wait for the internet to come back up, then make sure the spotify application is fully up to date, then power on the Play:5 and go back to the Sonos application and re add the Spotify account. Your Sonos system and products will need to be linked to your Sonos Account. Once complete, the Sonos speakers will show up under “DEVICES AVAILABLE” in the Spotify app. If you still do not see your Sonos speakers or are not able to play to them, make sure you are on the correct WiFi network, and reboot your router.
